Marcus Twilegar grew up in San Diego and has cooked here his entire career: Parq downtown, Palmy's next door in Pacific Beach, and Dockside Fish at the Tuna Harbor Dockside Market, where he buys directly from the local fishermen.
At Cherryfish, those sources become small plates, hand-cut nigiri, and charcoal-grilled mains. Japanese technique applied to San Diego seafood. Seed oil-free kitchen.
